Volunteer: Russian/English Bilingual Friendly Visitor Volunteers Urgently Needed for Holocaust Survivors

Make a difference in the life of a Holocaust survivor as a Friendly Visitor Volunteer.

We are urgently seeking bilingual Russian/English speaking volunteers for our Friendly Visiting Program for Russian speaking Holocaust survivors living in Brooklyn and Queens.

Friendly Visitors meet on-one-one with a Holocaust survivor on a weekly basis in the client's home. Provide companionship, engage in conversation and lend a listening ear. Activities include socialization or other in-home activities. 

You'll have the opportunity to develop a personal connection and contribute to the well-being being and quality of life for a member of this special community.

We ask for a minimum 6-month commitment. Opportunities are in Manhattan, Upper Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn.
