Join us in creating a warm and welcoming space for Holocaust survivors at our social events! ("coffee houses")
These events aim to provide a supportive community where survivors can connect, share stories and enjoy a friendly atmosphere with other survivors and supporters. These events include refreshments and music and sometimes dancing! Volunteers help survivors to enjoy a day out among other community members and supporters.
Volunteer Roles: Volunteers arrive early to help set up the event; they greet survivors as they arrive; assist with serving refreshments and help with clean up.
Must be patient, empathetic and caring with good interpersonal skills.
